  • Teaching Commitment:
    August-December 2026 plus opportunities continuing into 2027
  • Specifically looking for someone excited to work with ages 3-6 for ballet, tap, and hip-hop. Other styles and age groups are a plus!
  • Primarily seeking candidates for weeknights (Mondays in particular) 4:00-7:00pm – Instructor must be able to start classes at 4:15pm.
  • Starting at $20/hr for qualified candidates
  • Ability to teach additional styles is a plus!
Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead dance classes for ages 3–6 as well as adults of varying skill levels
  • Teach proper technique and form in a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans with fun and engaging activities to keep students motivated
  • Assess each student’s skill level and adapt teaching methods as needed
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment for all participants
  • Provide individualized feedback and encouragement to help dancers improve their skills and confidence
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow instructors
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Background and/or experience in multiple dance styles, with strong knowledge of proper technique and safety guidelines
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
  • Skill in creating and modifying lesson plans to meet student needs
  • Passion for teaching dance and inspiring growth and confidence
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
  • Must pass a background check
