Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of health occupations students during fall, spring, and/or summer semesters.

• Facilitate class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction for health occupations students during fall, spring, and/or summer semesters.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas, or Multi-State Licensure, or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 2–5 years of experience as an LPN in long-term care nursing.
• Experience in supervising CNAs.
• Continuing education about person-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology.

• Previous higher education experience.
