• Certified Special Education Teacher (state credential required)
• Previous experience working in special education or with students who have diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to accommodate a wide range of abilities
• Collaborative approach with instructional teams, support staff, and families
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom setting

• Teach and support students with a variety of learning needs, providing individualized and small-group instruction
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to align with student goals
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and school support staff
• Adapt and design instructional materials and activities to match student strengths and needs
• Collect data, track academic and behavioral progress, and report on outcomes
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and interventions
• Maintain a positive, safe classroom environment where every student can thrive
