We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented dance instructor to join our team. This position involves teaching beginner through advanced acro dance classes in a fun, inclusive, and engaging environment. The ability to teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and more is preferred! The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring dancers of all ages and skill levels.

- Teaching Commitment:
Oct 2026 - May 2027 with additional future opportunities - Availability on Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00pm - additional availability a plus!
- Starting at $20/hr for qualified candidates
- Ability to teach other dance styles is a plus!
- Plan and lead acro dance classes for ages 6+ for beginner through advanced levels
- Teach proper technique and form–Must be able to appropriately teach rolls, cartwheels, walkovers, aerials and aerial variations, and back handsprings and back handspring variations.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans with fun and engaging activities to keep students motivated
- Assess each student’s skill level and adapt teaching methods as needed
- Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment for all participants
- Provide individualized feedback and encouragement to help dancers improve their skills and confidence
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow instructors
- Background and/or experience in multiple dance styles, with strong knowledge of proper technique and safety guidelines
- Must be18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
- Skill in creating and modifying lesson plans to meet student needs
- Passion for teaching dance and inspiring growth and confidence
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Must pass a background check
