Adjunct Assistant Nursing Professor, Health Resource Center

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Will require weekend and evening availability, as well as during normal business hours. Average 30 hours per week, over 16 weeks.

Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1,262-$1,404 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Availability required (hours should fall within these time frames)
- Monday through Friday: between hours of
- Saturday:  (most Saturdays required)
- Anticipated number of days: 4-5 per week
- Will require weekend and evening availability, as well as during normal business hours.

- Staff open lab hours, to include:
Assist students learning psychomotor skills, and Complete formal skills validations
- Formal lab set-up and break-down
- Teaching formal skills labs and assessment labs
- Inventorying supplies
- Assisting with lab clean-up/laundry
- Student remediation for psychomotor skills referrals
- Grading, to include:
Classroom assignments, and Tickets to class
- Formal Evaluation of students to include:
Proctoring Head to Toe examinations, and Skills Check-offs

• Masters degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Candidates with a BSN and requisite experience will be considered.
• Active single-state RN license in Kansas, or an active Multi-state RN license.
• Current BLS certification as a healthcare provider.
• A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience within the last five years.
• Ability to multitask; process multiple sources of information quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Prior clinical teaching experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• One (1) to three (3) years relevant teaching experience in prelicensure nursing education, preferably skills or simulation lab.
