What You'll Do

As a Senior Medical Equipment Planner I, you'll lead complex planning efforts—translating clinical needs into coordinated equipment scopes, budgets, and specifications; guiding user groups and design teams; and stewarding procurement and installation to deliver safe, efficient healthcare environments. Establish new client relationships and maintain ongoing client satisfaction throughout planning and delivery. Lead interviews to verify medical equipment requirements; recommend best practices and equipment based on service lines.

Develop the Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix; distribute updates to the full project team. Plan room-by-room equipment using ESP (proprietary software); implement client standards and identify design/equipment conflicts early. Coordinate with the Revit design team for FF&E placement;

manage vendor submittals for incorporation into project drawings. Develop and update budgets; source equipment for quotes; analyze RFPs and support pricing negotiations at the client's request. Conduct equipment inventories; evaluate reuse vs. replacement; maintain awareness of emerging products and technologies. Review drawings and coordinate equipment requirements; ensure clear communication with architects, contractors, and facility personnel. Develop procurement and delivery strategies when contracted;

manage POs, storage, delivery, installation, and operational verification. Provide final reports and equipment documentation at project completion; support move-management activities as required. Research markets, attend conferences/trade shows, and share insights to inform planning and specifications.
