We are currently seeking candidates with computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) experience for a Survey CAD Technician opening. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on land survey projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D, but we are open to considering candidates at all levels of experience.
Survey CAD Technician - Responsibility Summary:
- Assist Registered Professional Lan Surveyors with CAD productions, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
- Processing of raw field data through Trimble Business Center
- Perform QA/QC on survey data
- Ensure data is stored correctly and free of errors and omissions
- Support the survey team as required to ensure project expectations and deadlines are met
- Manage your time to assist with the financial well-being of your projects
- Serve as a technical resource and train or assist others as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor degree in CADD, Civil Engineering, or other relevant fields of study preferred
- 1+ years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- Preferred experience producing CAD drawings for land surveying projects (ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, as-builts)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
