** Job Summary*
* As a
** Federal Civil Engineer** , you will have the opportunity to:

+ Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and will assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design culvert design, pavement design, etc.

+ Contribute to the planning and design of complex site development projects, including emerging and large-scale nuclear facilities

+ Professional will have hands-on involvement in permitting process

+ Professional will have significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Support civil site development design including grading, drainage, stormwater systems, utilities, erosion control, and pavement layouts.

+ Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and permitting documentation.

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders.

+ Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination with federal clients and contractors.

+ Engage in field visits and on‑site reviews as needed.

+ Communicate effectively with clients and project partners in a professional, solutions‑oriented manner

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline

+ Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration

+ Understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)

+ Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D for design and drafting.

+ Exposure to transportation‑related civil design.

+ Comfort in client‑facing roles, including presenting technical information.

+ Ability to work across teams and contribute to multi‑disciplinary project delivery.

+ Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
