In this role, you will be engaged with exciting projects across a variety of facilities, systems and locations. From small retrofits and upgrades to large‑scale Mega Projects, you will bring mechanical systems to life in industrial facilities. • Design, preconstruction planning, construction and startup
• Work with equipment partners to leverage the best technical solutions to the problems at hand
• Project delivery methods such as Design‑Bid‑Build and Owner’s Engineer, depending on need
• Facility types – industrial facilities such as food and beverage manufacturing, agricultural processing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing or other leading edge industries
• Systems – HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, boilers, chillers, compressed gases
• Energy audit and efficiency – engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations
• Code review and application – facility review for code compliance
• Sustainable design/LEED – application of sustainable strategies

• Mechanical quality plans – concept development, defining the requirements area by area, solutioning
• Equipment sizing and selection – using utility summary, facility layouts, and OEM resources
• Mechanical system layouts
• Contractor selection and coordination

• Experience across a range of building and utility systems
• Computer generated HVAC heat loads, energy modeling, and HVAC equipment sizing
• Technical submittal reviewing process
• Bid reviewing process
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Bluebeam Revu or other markup tool, Revit or CAD experience a plus
• International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
• ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA handbooks / standards

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in your home country or the country in which you practice
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience
• Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

This position requires working in a typical office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. The professional must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. Physical tasks during site visits may include crouching, grasping, and standing or walking for extended periods of time.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
