The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments

* Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and preparing geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements

* Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations

* Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls, etc.

Key Responsibilities

* Focuses on the coordinating internal teams and resources while working to understand client's interest and needs

* Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities,substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, and pipelines

* Planning, designing, and overseeing geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field.

* Be able to travel on field assignments as required. Field time is estimated at 20 and 40%.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls

* Prefer Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering

* Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) Preferred

Minimum Qualifications

* Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work.

* Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

* All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

* Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.

* Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
