We are seeking a
Radar Integration Test Technician to support the integration, testing, and verification of radar systems and subsystems. This role includes system-level testing, RF validation, and troubleshooting of integrated radar assemblies to ensure performance meets engineering specifications and requirements.
The ideal candidate has a background in electronics, telecommunications, or electromechanical systems, along with experience working with complex equipment and using electronic test equipment for validation and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities- Perform system-level testing and verification of radar modules, assemblies, and fully integrated systems.
- Execute test procedures to validate electrical, RF, and signal performance against specifications.
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and digital multimeters.
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical, RF, and electromechanical systems.
- Support integration activities, including installation of wiring, cable harnesses, and RF cabling as needed.
- Verify proper installation and performance of components such as antennas, TX/RX modules, power supplies, and cooling systems.
- Record, analyze, and document test data, results, and discrepancies.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues and support root cause analysis.
- Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Support final system acceptance testing and validation activities.
- Associate degree (AS/AAS) in Electronics, Telecommunications, Industrial Automation, or related technical field OR technical/trade school certification as an Electronics or Telecommunications Technician.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting electronic systems and assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with RF principles, coaxial cables, connectors, and signal integrity concepts.
- Hands‑on experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
Experience using common test and integration tools, including:
- Oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
- Signal generators and RF test equipment
- Digital multimeters for electrical measurements
- Torque wrenches and controlled electric screwdrivers
- Crimping tools for electrical connectors
- Calipers and precision measuring tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures
- Ability to work shift schedules if required
