• Design, preconstruction planning, construction and startup of mechanical systems in industrial facilities.
• Work with equipment partners to select best technical solutions.
• Use design‑bid‑build and owner’s engineer delivery methods as appropriate.
• Apply knowledge to facility types such as food & beverage manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing, etc.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, boilers, chillers, compressed gases systems.

• Energy audit/efficiency – engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations.
• Code review/application – facility review for code compliance.
• Sustainable design/LEED – application of sustainable strategies.

• Develop mechanical quality plans, define requirements area by area, solutioning.
• Equipment sizing and selection using utility summaries, facility layouts, and OEM resources.
• Mechanical system layouts.
• Contractor selection and coordination.

• Experience across a range of building and utility systems; interest in growing knowledge and skillsets.
• Computer‑generated HVAC heat loads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing.
• Technical submittal reviewing process.
• Bid reviewing process.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Bluebeam Revu or other markup tool;
  Revit or CAD experience a plus.
• Knowledge of International Code Council (ICC) suite of codes.
• ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA handbooks / standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records).

• Typical office environment with prolonged sitting and computer use.
• Physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, standing/walking for extended periods.
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days of employment based on manager discretion.
