Worker can choose either:
A) Per Diem of (USD)130/day and (USD)500 mob/demob OR
B) No per diem/mob/demob- expenses are submitted for reimbursement and worker is paid for travel time and flights back and forth to the project.
Performance of field installation and calibration, including documentation, of equipment and instruments within the scope of the technical discipline. Duties include timely preparation of appropriate documentation. As a lead discipline technician, provides functional direction and supervision to other discipline technicians on staff. Sets up equipment. Performs equipment calibration. Confirms device set points per design. Performs device loop checks to the Distributed Control System (DCS) per subsystem start-up package.
Loads programs in subsystem programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Performs required functional testing of equipment and systems. Verifies equipment installation per design. Walks down subsystems for erection completion. Identifies broken or failed devices for replacements within completion schedule. Prepares equipment and subsystem turnover documentation. Supports plant operation during startup and initial operations. Provides functional supervision of other discipline technicians assigned to the project.
Adheres to safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities. Acts in capacity of a "lead person". Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction. Directs discipline commissioning technicians.
