Substation Engineer
We're seeking a Substation Engineer to support high-voltage infrastructure projects that strengthen grid reliability, expand system capacity, and connect essential energy assets. What You'll Do- Design high-voltage substations for transmission and distribution applications.
- Develop site layouts, equipment arrangements, engineering drawings, and supporting calculations for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams, and clients to support projects from early-stage engineering through construction and commissioning.
- Contribute to substation solutions serving utilities, renewable energy integration, and other mission-critical infrastructure.
- Participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support ongoing improvement of engineering standards, tools, and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in substation engineering, utility design, or power systems projects.
- Working knowledge of high-voltage systems, substation physical design, and equipment arrangements.
- Familiarity with protection and control principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
