In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work with multi‑discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments
• Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and preparing geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements
• Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations
• Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls, etc.

As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our 3 market sectors—Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. You will work on projects ranging from small community improvements to large‑scale mega projects.

• Coordinate internal teams and resources while working to understand client interests and needs
• Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities, substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, and pipelines
• Plan, design, and oversee geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field
• Be able to travel on field assignments as required; field time is estimated at 20–40%

• Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls
• Prefer Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program or equivalent experience in engineering work
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience
• All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements
• Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments
• Typical office environment and typical construction environment with exposure to extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, and poor ventilation
• Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds
