This role is to provide leadership and expertise in rotating and packaged equipment for LNG Projects. This professional is desired to have a broad set of skills which will include hands‑on experience with design, installation, start‑up, and commissioning of various equipment such as centrifugal and positive displacement compression, pumping, and other oil and gas, chemical, and industrial packaged equipment.

This role supports construction, start‑up, and commissioning work for On‑Shore LNG and Off‑Shore FLNG which will include a combination of office‑based support as well as travel to shipyards and production sites where pre‑commissioning and commissioning work is occurring globally. In between LNG and FLNG assignments support of other process industries related work for Ammonia, Urea, Nitric Acid, Hydrogen, and CO2 Carbon Capture, or Simple or Combined Cycle power projects in a construction, start‑up, pre‑commissioning, or commissioning role may be requested.

• Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer rotating equipment systems suitable for design needs for a reliable, cost effective and efficient operation.
• Select and implement appropriate designs for machinery auxiliary systems such as mechanical seal systems, lube oil systems, steam turbine auxiliary systems, and combustion turbine auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to select the most technically acceptable design solutions.
• Utilize leading and current technologies in the development of designs.
• Prepare equipment cost estimating and manhours for FEED phase.
• Prepare rotating equipment data sheets, technical specification for bid and purchase.
• Perform bid clarifications / meetings with bidders and prepare technical bid evaluations/summary for equipment.
• Review, interpret, and include client technical specifications in the bid & purchase specifications.
