What You'll Experience As an Engineering Intern, you'll work directly with engineers and project teams on a variety of exciting projects, including:

Commercial airport fueling systems

Military fuel storage and distribution facilities

Bulk fuel terminals and storage facilities

Emerging and innovative fueling technologies

You'll gain exposure to projects ranging from small aviation fueling facilities to large-scale fuel storage and distribution systems serving clients across the United States and around the world.

What You'll Do Responsibilities may include:

Assisting engineers with the planning and design of fueling and fuel distribution systems

Supporting engineering calculations, analysis, and technical evaluations

Assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents

Working with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Plant 3DCollaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Participating in project meetings and learning industry design standards and best practices

Supporting construction and field-related activities, as applicable

Performing other duties and special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For We're seeking motivated, curious, and driven students who are eager to learn and contribute.

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering Technology.

Completion of junior year by the start of the internship preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Experience with AutoCAD or related engineering design software.

Interest in consulting engineering, infrastructure, energy, aviation, transportation, or industrial facility design.

Overland Park, KS and Atlanta, GA

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Duration:
Summer 2027 (May-August)
