** Job Description*
* Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olsson's number one concern, and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner.

We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technical Expert to enhance water treatment process engineering capabilities on a national basis.  You will provide firmwide technical leadership for water treatment processes, including conventional drinking water treatment, advanced treatment, potable reuse, PFAS treatment, surface water and groundwater treatment, and emerging water quality challenges.

* Primary responsibilities:

* + Provide technical leadership for treatment process selection, design, optimization, pilot testing, and commissioning.

+ Support project delivery, staff development and mentorship, and technical innovation.

+ Provide insights into firm water treatment strategy and provide technical approaches to support key pursuits.

+ Identify market trends, emerging water quality issues, client needs, and technical expertise needed to capitalize on ever changing water services.

+ Help build strong relationships, including interacting regularly with internal staff, clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders.

+ Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensuring client focus, demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivate others to ensure positive morale and engagement.

+ Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that Olsson is leading, developing long-term client relationships.

+ Work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment facilities.

+ Mentor, guide, and develop other team members to become technical experts within the water sector.

+ Ability to contribute and work well on a team.

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering required.  Master's degree in chemical, civil or environmental engineering preferred.

+ Minimum of 15 years of drinking water industry experience, including process design and engineering.

+ Must be a licensed professional engineer (PE).

+ Strong technical background and experience in the municipal water market, water treatment, water quality, and regulatory compliance.

+ Experience in leading and mentoring others.

+ Active professional organization participation.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

Colorado Pay Range

$156,000-$241,000 USD
