We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Associate to join our team and grow into an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR).In this role, you will help clients develop personalized retirement strategies that secure financial futures. This is a senior advisor-track; you will collaborate with the owner on investment operations, portfolio management, administration, and income planning.
Your goal is to develop the skills needed to grow into a senior advisory position.
- Coordinate with the senior advisor in the development and preparation of comprehensive financial plans & investment and retirement income strategies
- Assist in determining clients’ assets, liabilities, and overall financial conditions
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, learning to quickly assess goals and clearly communicate recommendations.
- Help support and communicate portfolio performance and reporting to clients
- Research, analyze, and interpret relevant financial and market
- Support client acquisition, relationship development, and retention efforts
- Assist with podcasts, webinars, and Zoom sessions supporting education and outreach
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, banking, or related field
- 3-5 years of financial services industry experience
- Proven ability to assist in developing and implementing financial plans tailored to clients’ needs
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow with a small business
- Experience in client relationship management and providing personalized financial advice
- Background verification is required.
Fingerprinting will be conducted as part of the regulatory hiring process
Preferred:
- Experience with financial planning software and tools for comprehensive client analysis
- Insurance and/or securities registrations (Series 6, 63, 65,
7) preferred - Prior client service experience in financial services, banking, or professional services
- Base salary of $50,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
