Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The
Financial Consultant Senior
is responsible for providing financial analysis and preparing analysis of results for lines of business.

• Lead administrative expense reporting, forecasting, and annual planning work streams across all Carelon Services cost center areas.
• Drive financial cost management and budgeting processes across multiple business units, ensuring timely achievement of key milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and financial reports to support leadership review of business plans, forecasts, and performance results.
• Build and maintain financial models and perform complex analyses to support long-term growth strategies and key strategic initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects focused on business process improvement; identify and implement innovative financial system solutions to reduce manual processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Works with management to provide decision support analysis.
• Conducts and documents complex financial and business-related analyses and research fields including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.
• Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
• Provides guidance and training to less experienced team members.

Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

• MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls and financial systems preferred to include Oracle/Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft Office/Excel, Peoplesoft, and Workday.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary
* range for this specific position is $91,256 to $143,106.
