Position Summary We’re hiring for a Credit Analyst. This position is responsible for entering financial information to calculate cash flows and financial ratios. Provides competent credit analysis, performs research for management, and risk rates loans.
Key Responsibilities The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Prepares credit analysis summary for the results of the analysis of borrower and guarantor financials.
Performs annual review of commercial credits.
Spreads personal and business tax returns, prepares cash flow analysis, analyzes projected cash flows, prepares global cash flows, analyzes guarantor support, stress tests borrowers, assists in loan grading and monitoring of loan covenants.
Performs administrative support for commercial loan activities including review of draw documentation for accuracy and posting draw requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Required Qualifications 1-3 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience preferred.
Use of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with the commercial lending team of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience.
Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
