As a Lending Transaction Associate Senior within PNC's Midland organization, you will be based within the PNC Midland footprint.

As a Senior Lending Transaction Coordinator within PNC's Special Servicing department, you will be responsible for coordinating the closing of resolutions involving specially serviced loans. Resolution types include assumptions, receiver sales, forbearances, modifications, foreclosures, REO sales, discounted payoffs, full payoffs, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, settlement agreements, note sales, and partial releases. The Senior Lending Transaction Coordinator will monitor each closing to ensure all requirements have been satisfied and all necessary documentation is complete.

This position is also responsible for routing documents to the Quality Control (QC) team for review and approval prior to execution, as well as overseeing the execution process. Post-closing responsibilities include processing and posting closing funds, routing executed documents to the appropriate parties, and uploading documents to the required systems for retention.

Responsibilities
  • Perform functions in the documentation, funding, and due diligence requirements of standard or complex transactions being financed by PNC, or bought from/sold to other institutions.
  • Provide client‑facing service and may provide on‑the‑job training or coaching.
  • Determine, review, and issue required legal documents for transactions while ensuring all terms are met.
  • Negotiate documentation revisions and draft changes independently, or in collaboration with client’s counsel if necessary.
  • Identify deficiencies in documents for transactions being sold to or bought from institutions.
  • Interact with internal and external clients to coordinate a closing schedule for transactions.
  • Direct workflow as needed to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Build relationships with clients, legal counsel, vendors and internal partners.
  • Gather, review and analyze all information from internal and external parties specific to transactions of increasing complexity.
  • Resolve inquiries/issues as necessary.
  • Comply with necessary regulations, internal procedures, and assist in response to audit exceptions.
  • Validate that transaction structures match pricing models.
  • Ensure perfection of security interest for transactions and/or request approval for exceptions.
Qualifications
  • Complex Transactions, Documentation, Due Diligence, Finance Strategy, Financial Operations, Public Accounting Competencies.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Collaborating, Data Gathering and Reporting, Decision Making and Critical Thinking.
  • Effective Communication, Managing Multiple Priorities, Negotiating, Operational Functions, Products and Services.
  • Knowledge of the Regulatory Environment – Financial Services.
  • University/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience (military service considered).
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • No required certifications or licenses.
