Job Summary
This opportunity requires an experienced Loan Assistant who wants to be part of OMB’s newest community expansion in the Kansas City region. As a representative of the bank, this role will be instrumental in helping to expand OMB’s brand recognition while increasing our market presence by engaging community members and customers who can benefit from the products and services offered.
Loan Assistants cooperatively work with one or two lenders and provide support to other lenders as needed. This role acts as a resource for interested and current borrowers throughout the loan life process, including the loan documentation from application to closing and ongoing borrower support such as renewals, draws, and payments. The Loan Assistant works directly with all banking support teams to guarantee our customers experience outstanding service.
Individuals in this job must be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge of the many avenues for commercial loan structuring and funding. With a focus on relationship banking, loan assistants are encouraged to identify and cross-sell additional bank products and services that benefit the customer. Additional duties include cooperatively supporting and performing other activities required for the efficient operations of banking centers.
Compensation is a combination of base salary plus incentive that is based on loan production and job performance.
Primary Location/Schedule- 8801 Renner Blvd #401 Lenexa, KS 66219
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday; overtime and weekends based on loan volume
- Fulltime: 40 hours per week average
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of loan and/or loan processing experience
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
- Basic knowledge of banking operations, documentation, policy and procedures
- Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
