Position Overview

As a Senior Lending Transaction Coordinator in the Special Servicing department based within the PNC Midland footprint, you will be responsible for coordinating the closing of resolutions involving specially serviced loans, including assumptions, receiver sales, forbearances, modifications, foreclosures, REO sales, discounted payoffs, full payoffs, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, settlement agreements, note sales, and partial releases.
Responsibilities- Monitor each closing to ensure all requirements have been satisfied and all necessary documentation is complete.
- Route documents to the Quality Control (QC) team for review and approval prior to execution, and oversee the execution process.
- Process and post closing funds, route executed documents to the appropriate parties, and upload documents to the required systems for retention.
- Validate that transaction structures match pricing models and ensure perfection of security interest for transactions.
- Gather, review, and analyze all information from internal and external parties specific to increasing‑complexity transactions; resolve inquiries or issues as necessary.
- Work with internal and external clients to coordinate a closing schedule and direct workflow as needed to meet client expectations.
- Negotiate documentation revisions and draft changes independently or in collaboration with client counsel when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, internal procedures, and assist in responding to audit exceptions.
- Provide client‑facing service and may provide on‑the‑job training or coaching.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience in commercial lending or similar field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Complex Transactions, Documentation, Due Diligence, Finance Strategy, Financial Operations, Public Accounting.
