Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Financial Analyst to join a rapidly growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a meaningful role in the company's growth strategy by supporting mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, due diligence, and executive decision-making.
This position will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate acquisition opportunities, develop financial analyses, and support strategic initiatives from initial evaluation through integration.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives
- Perform financial analysis, valuation modeling, and scenario planning to support M&A activity
- Participate in financial, operational, and commercial due diligence for prospective acquisitions
- Analyze historical financial statements, key performance indicators, and operating metrics
- Assist with acquisition integration planning, reporting, and post-close performance tracking
- Prepare presentations, executive summaries, and investment materials for senior leadership
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitive intelligence
- Support long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and other corporate finance initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, or M&A
- Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience supporting acquisitions, due diligence, or strategic finance initiatives is highly preferred
- M&A transaction support
- Financial modeling and business valuation
- Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus
