Overview
The City of Louisburg is hiring a Finance Director. The Finance Director is responsible for maintaining the official accounting records of the city. This position performs a variety of complex technical accounting and finance functions in the maintenance of the fiscal records and systems of the City.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by Aug. 31 for first-round consideration.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A master’s degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
- Three to five years in accounting, financial, or a business work environment is required. Experience in public or fund accounting is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions. Must also be able to analyze problems logically and choose effective solutions.
- Must demonstrate advanced supervisory, public relations, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
