Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers via in‑person, by appointment, and virtually, maintaining a digital first mindset.
  • Gain and process customer and account information, demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals.
  • Proactively outreach and follow up to learn about customers’ financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings.
  • Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to best serve clients.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs.
  • Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to four years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Effective engagement and communication with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while employing a digital first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customers’ needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Certifications & Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Banking certifications.
