LHH is partnering with a well-established Kansas City banking institution who is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Trust Coordinator to support the administration and servicing of trust accounts. This individual will work closely with clients, internal departments, legal professionals, financial advisors, and trust officers to ensure accurate account administration, timely processing of transactions, and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Experience in banking, wealth management, trust operations, estate administration, or financial services is preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist with the ongoing administration of trust, estate, and fiduciary accounts.
- Prepare and process account documentation, distributions, transfers, and other trust-related transactions.
- Coordinate communication between clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, financial advisors, and internal partners.
- Review trust documents and account records for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed account records and ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support account onboarding, account maintenance, and account closing activities.
- Monitor deadlines related to trust administration, tax reporting, and beneficiary distributions.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies, transaction exceptions, and client inquiries.
- Generate reports and assist with audits, compliance reviews, and account reconciliations.
- Provide exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred. - 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, trust administration, wealth management, legal support, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Preferred:
- Previous trust operations, fiduciary services, estate administration, or wealth management experience.
- Understanding of trust accounts, investments, estates, or fiduciary responsibilities.
- Experience working with financial software or trust accounting platforms.
