Role Overview

Personal Banker – First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). As a Personal Banker, you will help customers with deposits, withdrawals, and financial planning, ensuring they feel welcome and supported at every transaction. You will work closely with branch managers and teammates to provide personalized recommendations and drive customer satisfaction.

• Make every customer feel welcome in the FNBO branch.
• Help customers with transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and other routine banking services.
• Understand each customer’s unique financial needs and make personalized recommendations to support their financial well‑being.
• Guide customers toward greater financial health and help them plan for future goals.
• Develop relationships through outreach and ongoing support.
• Comply with all bank policies, regulations, and laws.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Retail banking or related customer‑service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team, be motivated to do what’s right, and stay solution‑oriented.
• Must hold S.A.F.E. Act registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and meet ongoing regulatory background and credit standards.

Starting pay is $22 per hour, with the potential for incentive compensation based on performance.
