Client Service Specialist - Part Time

Are you a banking professional who enjoys helping clients, keeping operations organized, and being part of a collaborative team? Kendall Bank is looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Part-Time Client Service Specialist (CSS) to support our branch operations and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
This role is much more than a traditional teller position. We are seeking someone who wants to become an expert in deposit account operations, business account opening, documentation management, and wire processing while serving as a trusted resource for both clients and team members.
What You'll DoClient Service & Relationship Building- Deliver exceptional service to clients in person and over the phone.
- Answer questions and provide support for deposit accounts, online banking, and other banking services.
- Create positive client experiences that reflect Kendall Bank's commitment to relationship banking.
- Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts.
- Become a subject matter expert in business account opening requirements and documentation.
- Review, organize, and maintain account-opening files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate follow-up for missing documentation and account exceptions.
- Perform account maintenance and servicing activities.
- Prepare and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with security procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding wire requests and questions.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Balance cash, teller drawers, and other assigned cash responsibilities.
- Assist with safe deposit boxes, ATM support, and other branch operational functions.
- Provide coverage when staffing needs arise.
- Be available to adjust schedules on short notice when employees are absent due to illness or unexpected situations.
- Work additional hours, including temporary full-time schedules, to provide coverage for vacations, training, and other staffing needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous banking experience preferred.
- Experience opening deposit accounts strongly preferred.
- Experience with business account opening and documentation preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Wire transfer experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Ability to learn new systems, regulations, and procedures quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
