American Traveler is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an 8‑week inpatient float pool assignment in Overland Park, Kansas, starting 03/09/2026. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and a weekend‑focused schedule.

• Float position covering all inpatient units within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend assignment requiring availability on Saturdays and Sundays, with an additional weekday (Thursday)
• Patient ratios of 8–10 acute care patients or 4 inpatient rehab patients
• 11‑12 OTs scheduled per day shift
• Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS, Xcite, Barihab, and BURT devices
• EMR system:
  Meditech
• No on‑call requirements
• 8‑week contract
• Perform OT evaluations and treatments across all inpatient units
• Inpatient rehab experience is preferred
• Growing inpatient rehab unit with a collaborative OT/PT team culture
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; professional appearance is expected

• Active OT license (required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
