• Provide assistance with patient care in the electrophysiology lab through technical support to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues in the patient.
• Execute any non‑invasive course of action.
• Review the patient’s history and verify the medical order.
• Evaluate images by checking image quality and ensuring the area in question is included.
• Be familiar with differences between normal and abnormal images.
• Communicate imaging results to the doctor.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the electrophysiology labs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
