Medical Assistant - Endocrinology

This role will support our Orthopedics team at our Ascentist Healthcare clinics. Join us in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care at our clinics located in KS and MO.

As a Medical Assistant, you play an important role working closely with our Endocrinology physicians and care team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and has a positive experience during their time at Ascentist Healthcare. You will help maintain a professional office environment while using strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with providers and staff to enhance patient outcomes.

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
• Collecting and documenting medical history and vital signs
• Chart prepping and maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting providers during in-office procedures
• Preparing patients and procedure rooms ahead of treatments
• Submitting prior authorizations as needed
• Supporting clinic operations and ensuring a smooth patient flow

Job Type: Full-time

Locations: KS and MO

Schedule: 8-9hr Days/5 Days per Week, No Weekends

Experience: Minimum of one year substantially similar work experience in a medical setting, performing substantially similar Medical Assistant essential functions
