Position Title: HRIS Analyst

Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Onsite Monday through Thursday, hybrid option Fridays)

Employment Type: Contract (3–4 months)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Pay: $40–$48 per hour

Benefits: Contract employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Position Overview

A well-established consumer products and manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support its HR technology environment and reporting needs. This role will play an important part in maintaining HR system operations, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering critical workforce reporting that supports leadership and compliance requirements.

The HRIS Analyst will partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Finance teams to maintain HR systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to processes and reporting. This opportunity begins as a contract assignment with strong potential to convert to a full time position.

This is a highly visible role within a collaborative HR technology team and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with HR data, improving system workflows, and solving complex system challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain HR technology platforms including UKG and other HR systems to ensure system stability and effective user support.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy through regular audits, data validation, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards including headcount reports, leadership metrics, and compliance reporting.
  • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests for HR leadership and cross‑functional partners.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS system issues through a shared support process and resolve data or workflow errors.
  • Support integrations between HR systems and external vendors including benefits providers and payroll partners.
  • Manage vendor data file feeds, imports, exports, and troubleshoot any integration errors.
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting requirements and internal audits.
  • Partner with IT on system access management, security audits, and user provisioning processes.
  • Document HRIS procedures, workflows, and system processes to support operational continuity.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and configuration updates across HR platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and recommend system improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance teams to translate operational needs into system solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience supporting HRIS or HR technology systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with UKG strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Experience troubleshooting HR system issues and supporting end users.
  • Background supporting system integrations, vendor data files, or automated data feeds.
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as manufacturing, consumer products, or similar industries preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
