About the Role
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Benefits Coordinator to join the HR team. This role is responsible for assisting with the administration of all healthcare plans and benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and the 401k plan. An ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of employee benefits and Human Resources.
What You’ll Do- Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
- Processes enrollment and life change event requests within the HRIS system and works directly with carriers as needed
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Performs quality audits of monthly benefits bills and benefits-related data
- Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
- Ensures that SharePoint is maintained with the most up-to-date benefit information
- Assists with the open enrollment process
- Assists with wellness initiatives, communications and events
- Administers the AAA Roadside Assistance company perk
- Assists as needed in the coordination of 401k trainings and financial planning seminars
- Assists with the administration of all leave of absence requests and disability paperwork with assistance of outside vendor, as needed
- Assists with ACA compliance and year-end filings
- Performs other related duties and projects as required and assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resourcesor related field
- 1+ years experience in HR and/or benefits administration
- General knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Skilled in MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
