We’re looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer (AWS Cloud Platform) with deep experience running multi‑tenant SaaS platforms at scale to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability stack that powers Smart Suite.

• Serve as an expert for design, deployment, and operation of the AWS environment.
• Keep the platform reliable, secure, and performant as usage grows.
• Improve developer velocity through better tooling, pipelines, and automation.
• Shape the platform that underpins Smart Suite’s automations engine, native integrations, and AI‑powered capabilities.

• Own our AWS infrastructure as code
  • Design, build, and maintain the environment using Terraform (and/or Cloud Formation).
  • Standardize reusable modules for networking, compute, storage, security, and observability.
• Lead CI/CD and deployment automation
  • Evolve pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment for microservices.
  • Implement blue/green or canary strategies to reduce deployment friction and risk.
• Build a first‑class observability stack
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability and performance.
  • Define and track SLI/SLOs with engineering and product.
• Partner with development teams
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize application performance.
  • Advocate and enable patterns that improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Strengthen security & compliance posture
  • Manage AWS IAM, VPC configurations, security groups, and other cloud‑native controls.
  • Contribute to security reviews and support broader audit initiatives.
• Support containerized and distributed systems
  • Operate and optimize workloads (Docker, ECS) and messaging/streaming systems such as SQS and Kafka.
  • Design resilient systems that are easy to operate.
• Continuously improve the platform
  • Drive initiatives that improve scalability, automation, cost efficiency, and developer experience.
  • Influence architecture decisions that impact delivery speed and safety.

• 5+ years in Dev Ops, Platform, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles with significant ownership of production environments.
• Hands‑on experience operating and scaling a multi‑tenant SaaS platform.
• Deep AWS expertise (ECS, Lambda, VPC, S3, IAM, SQS, Cloud Watch).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or similar).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS; EKS/Kubernetes a plus).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
• Proficiency in one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or Bash).
• A strong ownership mindset – focus on SLAs, blast radius, and long‑term reliability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with developers, product managers, and leadership.
