DescriptionThe Software Support Specialist provides frontline technical support for the company’s multifamily housing management systems, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service to property management teams. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills, deep familiarity with multifamily software applications, and the ability to deliver timely solutions, training support, and system documentation. The Software Support Specialist plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting team members in the effective use of company software platforms.

Provide day‑to‑day support to onsite teams and vendor partners using property management systems, with a strong focus on Yardi. Assist with common tasks such as leasing workflows, resident records, reporting, and system navigation.
Help resolve system‑related questions in a timely and professional manner, ensuring teams can continue their daily operations with minimal disruption. Support key functions such as screening, insurance, payments, and revenue management within Yardi and related platforms.
Monitor recurring issues and partner with internal teams or vendors when additional support is needed.
Yardi System Knowledge & User SupportBuild and maintain strong working knowledge of Yardi (including Voyager, CRM tools, Rent Cafe, and Aspire) and how it supports property operations.
Create and update easy‑to‑use resources such as quick guides, FAQs, and tips to help onsite teams better navigate systems.
Serve as a go‑to resource for best practices, helping teams use Yardi more efficiently in their day‑to‑day responsibilities.
Training & Team SupportSupport training efforts by helping manage course assignments, tracking completion, and maintaining training materials.
Assist in creating simple, practical learning tools such as job aids, walkthroughs, and basic assessments to reinforce system knowledge.
Help facilitate training sessions, workshops, or team meetings focused on Yardi and property operations processes.
Work with team members to support system updates and ongoing learning initiatives.
Property Operations & Process SupportMaintain a strong understanding of multifamily property management operations, including leasing, renewals, resident communication, and financial workflows.
Help ensure Yardi is being used in a way that aligns with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Provide feedback on opportunities to improve workflows and make systems easier for onsite teams to use.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Knowledge of real estate principles and multifamily property operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences and learners.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for leading engaging training sessions, workshops, and meetings using interactive and multimedia techniques.
- Ability to work independently while exercising discretion, professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
