We are seeking a highly skilled strategic and experienced Manager of Enterprise Engineering Platforms, Strategy & Execution to join our Digital and Information Technology team.

This role serves as the strategic leader responsible for defining and delivering the enterprise vision, roadmap, and operational excellence for Black & Veatch’s engineering systems and desktop application ecosystem. You will provide forward‑looking leadership across the full application lifecycle ensuring these platforms enable high performance engineering outcomes at scale, which includes architecture, deployment, optimization, and sustainment.

As the steward of BV’s engineering technology landscape, you bring deep expertise in complex engineering application environments and modern delivery architectures. This role aligns technology capabilities with business strategy, ensuring that engineering teams are equipped with resilient, intuitive, and future‑ready solutions.

This leader orchestrates collaboration across a broad network of stakeholders to anticipate needs, drive innovation, and deliver integrated solutions that strengthen BV’s competitive advantage. Through strategic planning, governance, and continuous improvement, this role ensures BV’s engineering systems remain a catalyst for operational excellence, digital transformation, and long‑term enterprise value.

Black & Veatch’s Business Enablement consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations’ people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible. Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.

• Ensure all technology maintenance and end‑user support needs for deployed enterprise engineering systems are resolved in a timely manner; driving continuous improvement and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action opportunities as needed.
• Define and maintain application & technology roadmaps which ensure deployed solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with vendor life cycles & the overall BV portfolio strategy.
• Partner with business, technical, and software/service providers to translate business & technology needs into potential solutions with costs/benefits analysis, achievable project timelines, and BV‑standard deployment architectures.
• Manage relationships with key software providers such as Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, AVEVA, Esri, and more to achieve BV business outcomes through vendor solutions and services.
