IT at Nextworld operates as a shared services function — our IT team directly supports two business units:
Nextworld and Cloud Inventory. This role is based in the Overland Park, KS office and serves both organizations, giving you broad exposure across two distinct but complementary software businesses.

Cloud Inventory mobile‑first applications empower organizations with real‑time inventory visibility at all points in the supply chain, from the warehouse to the field. Based in Kansas City, our global team has the supply chain knowledge and mobile‑first development expertise to deliver solutions that solve today’s business challenges.

Nextworld is looking for an IT Analyst 1 to join our team based out of the Overland Park, KS office. IT at Nextworld is a shared services function, meaning this role directly supports both Nextworld and Cloud Inventory. You’ll be the front‑line resource for end‑user technical support across both organizations, keeping systems running and people productive.

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure availability and security
• Provide end‑user support, resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner

• Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Recommend and implement solutions to optimize IT operations and enhance productivity
• Research and evaluate new technologies to support organizational goals

• Assist in maintaining IT security standards, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable data protection regulations
• Participate in risk assessments and help implement mitigation measures

• Partner with business units to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
• Assist in training employees on IT systems, policies, and best practices

• Contribute to IT‑related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and procurement
• Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes
