Job Overview

We are seeking a Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Technician to enable large‑scale, computer‑based training for Army commanders and battle staff. The role maintains and optimizes the U.S. Army's constructive simulation toolkit, ensuring mission‑rehearsal exercises run flawlessly from battalion through echelons above corps. The Technician provides hands‑on technical expertise for the JLCCTC suite, ensuring simulation platforms seamlessly integrate with real‑world systems to deliver realistic, dynamic training environments.

• Enable and support large‑scale computer‑based training for Army commanders and battle staff.
• Maintain and optimize the U.S. Army’s constructive simulation toolkit.
• Ensure mission‑rehearsal exercises (offensive, defensive, stability, and civil‑support) run flawlessly across all echelons.
• Provide hands‑on technical expertise for the JLCCTC suite.
• Ensure simulation platforms seamlessly integrate with real‑world systems.

• 5+ years of experience with military training and training support.
• 5+ years of experience in integrating training environments, planning architectures, and stimulating Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) in support of unit training events and distributed exercises.
• 2+ years of experience performing system enhancements and installing software updates.
• Secret clearance.
• DoDM 8140.03 Advanced Level Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in DoD configuration and patch management processes, including STIGs or SCAP.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs and secure LAN or WAN operations.
• Knowledge of Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability applications or equivalent simulation tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to instruct non‑technical military personnel.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.

Secret clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience.
