Role OverviewBuilding the next generation of technical content capability, the Associate Technical Content Engineer will design, author, and deliver structured technical documents using DITA and AI‑assisted workflows for the Global Operations department.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and publish technical content, including public trade desk notices and technical specifications, while obtaining all necessary pre‑publication approvals.
- Design structured, topic‑based content using DITA, manage version control and taxonomy, and troubleshoot XML to ensure content integrity across the CCMS.
- Analyze project requirement documents and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Compliance, and other teams to gather technical information for documentation.
- Review pre‑publication documents to ensure consistency with corporate documentation standards and uphold accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Incorporate AI and automation tooling into content creation and delivery workflows, identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround times.
- Maintain operational runbooks, content architecture documentation, and knowledge base articles; contribute to onboarding materials as the function grows.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing/Communications, English, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, Business, Financial Services, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of technical writing experience.
- Experience with DITA or structured authoring methodology such as CCMS.
- Experience applying AI–assisted content generation tools and reviewing AI output for accuracy and style compliance.
- Cross‑functional collaboration on technical documentation.
- Version control, content reuse, and metadata management skills.
- XML content validation and troubleshooting expertise (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear, accessible content.
- Structured content mindset; ability to think in modular components.
- Familiarity with financial markets, exchange operations, or highly regulated technology environments (strong plus).
- Process improvement orientation with experience in workflow engineering or operational improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and quality in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
