Job Overview
This role ensures T-Mobile’s compliance with government regulatory and contractual obligations by protecting restricted data and information systems. The position involves planning and implementing security measures, using technical controls and artificial intelligence to control data access, and preventing unauthorized actions. The analyst will develop and deploy AI agents to automate compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and enforcement of security controls across systems and data environments.
They will design, train, and continuously improve AI‑driven agents to proactively detect anomalies, support decision‑making, and enhance the effectiveness of security and compliance operations. Regular security, compliance, and risk assessments will be conducted throughout project life cycles using established methodologies. The role leads compliance assessments of IT systems, new technologies, and remediation planning to address identified vulnerabilities and supports T‑Mobile’s overall security posture and safeguards customer and business information from threats.
- Conduct security, compliance, and risk assessments on technical systems and processes in support of projects throughout their lifecycle to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Lead information security reviews of new technologies, designs, and remediation plans to ensure secure implementation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional groups such as operations, finance, legal, and risk management to maintain security visibility and alignment.
- Investigate security needs and compliance risks, recommend solutions, and implement, test, and monitor security improvements to enhance protection.
- Lead security projects initiated by internal and external groups to address organizational security requirements.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Incorporate artificial intelligence into daily operations and technical control capabilities, simplifying compliance operations and expanding early detection and resolution of compliance risks.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required).
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Information Technology (Required).
- 4–7 years of experience in information security technology or related field (Required).
- Previous leadership experience, a plus (Preferred).
- Experience in compliance (CMMC, PCI, NIST 800‑171) (Preferred).
- Previous project management or leadership experience (Preferred).

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Preferred).
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Preferred).

T‑Mobile requires U.S. citizenship for certain roles within the organization. This role requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals hired into this role will be required to submit documentation proving U.S. citizenship within the first 7 days of hire; failure to do so will result in termination.
