HR Reporting Analyst
Shamrock HR is seeking a detail-oriented HR Reporting Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and internal workforce insights across the organization. This role is responsible for creating and administering Dayforce reports, analyzing workforce trends, ensuring data integrity, and translating complex data into actionable insights that support organizational decision-making.
The HR Reporting Analyst partners closely with HR, Recruiting, and business stakeholders to develop dashboards, reporting tools, and system enhancements, while providing end-user support. This role will be responsible for managing report features and governance, while maintaining data confidentiality, and optimizing overall HR system functionality.
What You'll Do
- Develop, automate, and maintain recurring HR reports and dynamic dashboards.
- Monitor system access and functionality while recommending improvements to optimize performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement effective, solution-focused resolutions and process improvements.
- Translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders and non-technical audiences with simple and easy to digest visuals.
- Create and maintain advanced audits to ensure data accuracy, spot discrepancies, and maintain strict user access authorizations and reporting features.
- Manage report features and access authorizations while maintaining strict data governance
- Communicate and present complex data points clearly to HR leadership to drive strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities to optimize legacy reporting and improve data-gathering processes.
- Create, maintain, and enhance custom reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with applicable data privacy regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to HR, Recruiting, and business users.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure HR data points meet organizational needs.
What You'll Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in an HRIS, HR Operations, or related HR technology role.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI and HR analytics/dashboard development.
- Experience working with enterprise HRIS platforms;
Dayforce experience is preferred. - Knowledge of HR data management, reporting, and analytics.
- Proficiency with SQL syntax and applying SQL-based logic within reporting tools.
- Understanding of HR processes, recruitment practices, and HR best practices.
- Working knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and security principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience managing system integrations and data feeds between HR platforms and third-party vendors.
- Experience developing advanced reports, audits, and user-facing HR technology solutions.
