We are seeking a  
** Load Planner
** to join our team in  
** Overland Park, Kansas** . This role is responsible for executing day-to-day North American shipping operations, ensuring transportation capacity, optimizing carrier performance, and supporting exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with customers, carriers, plant operations, and logistics teams to drive efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Coordinate day-to-day shipping operations across North America

+ Procure transportation capacity and negotiate spot rates when needed

+ Monitor and manage carrier performance, service levels, and key performance indicators

+ Collaborate with customer service, planning, and plant teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

+ Resolve shipping issues, delays, and capacity constraints proactively

+ Analyze transportation performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

+ Manage carrier relationships and conduct performance reviews

+ Communicate shipment status and logistics updates to internal and external stakeholders

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation operations

+ Provide after-hours support as needed

** Required Qualifications*
* + 2+ years of logistics, transportation, customer service, or related experience

+ Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree

+ Experience in load planning across multiple facilities

+

Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

+

Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Enterprise One

+ Prior experience with a motor carrier or transportation customer service role
