Job Summary

The Mission Ministries Lead Director is the church's highest level strategic leader when it comes to steering overall strategy and implementation for missions engagement as a pathway for discipleship through collections, entry level mobilization, local and global community-based service opportunities, as well as a variety of justice initiatives including but not limited to educational opportunities. These engagement strategies are designed to ensure that every member and regular guest at Resurrection takes steps to grow in their faith through service beyond the walls of the church to the extent that Kansas City as well as the communities within our international partnerships are transformed to better reflect the Kingdom of God.

As a member of the M&P Lead Director Team, the Lead Director of Missions will partner with the Executive Team, Location Pastors and Ministries and Program Leads to create frictionless engagement for all of our members and guests to get involved in missions and outreach in a way that leads towards deeper discipleship and seeks to close the opportunity gap as well as the justice and kindness gap here in Kansas City and beyond.

This person supervises the staff teams in the Missions Division (both global and local) across all locations and provides direction for churchwide programs and ministries under the direction of these staff members.
