We are seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and support Swiss-turn CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience with Swiss machines; however, experienced CNC lathe machinists eager to transition into Swiss machining are encouraged to apply.

This role is critical to producing high‑quality, tight‑tolerance components while maintaining efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-type CNC lathes
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Perform tool offsets, wear adjustments, and minor program edits
• Monitor part quality using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Conduct first-article and in-process inspections
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering and programming teams to improve processes
• Document production and quality data as required

Required
:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe preferred)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and tolerances
• Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and materials
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred (Not Required):

• Direct experience with Swiss-turn CNC lathes
• Familiarity with bar feeders and live tooling
• Experience with tight-tolerance, precision parts
• Basic CNC programming or editing experience
