ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS- Maintains a safe work environment and follows all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Fabricates, assembles, and finishes custom signage, way finding, channel letters and architectural elements using metal, plastics, wood, and other materials.
- Builds from drawings, sketches, concepts, verbal direction, or incomplete information while maintaining quality and design intent.
- Identifies fabrication challenges early and develops practical, cost‑effective solutions to keep projects moving.
- Demonstrates strong craftsmanship and takes ownership of quality throughout the fabrication process.
- Operates fabrication equipment, hand tools, welding equipment, and shop machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintains production pace and adapts to changing priorities to support project schedules and deadlines.
- Collaborates effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to achieve project goals.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work area while helping promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Assists with installations, deliveries, and other production‑related activities as needed.
- Adheres to established work hours and takes responsibility for managing time effectively.
- Strong fabrication skills with experience working primarily in metal fabrication; experience with wood, plastics, and other materials preferred.
- Ability to build, troubleshoot, and problem‑solve with limited information and minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of welding, cutting, grinding, forming, assembly, and general fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
- High attention to detail while balancing quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Ability to adapt quickly, remain productive under pressure, and contribute wherever needed.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to team success.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Strong understanding of fractions, decimals, geometry, and both standard and metric measurements.
- Proficient knowledge of measuring tools, blade identification, and jig fabrication.
- 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication, channel letters, finish carpentry, custom manufacturing, construction, woodworking, plastics, or related trades preferred.
- Welding experience with steel and aluminum preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Basic electrical and low‑voltage knowledge preferred.
- CNC machine operation experience is a plus.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Employee must be able to talk and hear.
Due to our onsite fabrication process, the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.

This is an hourly (non‑exempt) position.
QUALIFICATIONS- Candidates must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test and hold a valid driver’s license.
