• Executing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and devising individualized treatment strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Educating patients and families on disease prevention, wellness strategies, and effective management of health conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic protocols in line with your practice scope
• Participating in follow-up care and managing long-term health conditions
• Working collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Maintaining thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
