Join our team as a Perioperative Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively and postoperatively until your patients are discharged. As a valued addition to our company, you will exhibit the values of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare as a whole, as well as your individual center, providing quality care like family.

• Prepare your patients’ care area adequately before case
• Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patients’ procedure
• Conduct complete physical, and psychological assessment and evaluation of your patients’ history and diagnostic tests
• Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed
• You will exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
• Check dressings and/or operative site of your patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon
• Ensure your patients meet discharge criteria

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
• Active RN license as required by state of employment
• BCLS Certification upon employment.

• ACLS required within 30-days of hire
• PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire

Kansas City Urology Surgery Center, the newest member of Surgery Ventures Group powered by HCA Healthcare, is opening in Spring 2026. This state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center is dedicated exclusively to urological care and features four operating rooms, two specialty procedure rooms, and five local procedure rooms. The center will be staffed by a highly skilled team of registered nurses, OR techs, and ancillary support, and is conveniently located at I-435 and Nall for easy access.
