Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Respective State Nurse Practice Act, and the Code of Professional and Business Ethics.

RN & LPN Opportunities:
Trauma Surgery. Full‑time & Part‑time. Day‑shift, Night‑shift, Weekend Option Available.
- Up to $10,000 NO CONTRACT Sign‑on Incentive for RNs.
- Up to $2,000 NO CONTRACT Sign‑on Incentive for LPNS.
- Competitive Weekend Option Shift Differential.

- Shift Differential Pay:
Days, Nights, Weekends. - Stay Pay Program – $2/hr on productive time (24/7 bedside eligible position) at 2, 5, 10, and 20 year anniversaries (up to $8/hr).
- LPN > RN Bridge Program Assistance.
- RN > BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000).
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education.
- PTO begins accruing immediately – including a volunteer day.
- Required
Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred. - License: Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. - Experience: 1 year LPN experience.
- Licensure: Current LPN license in the hiring state; must meet State Board of Nursing requirements. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or comparable education/experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire; LPN‑IV Certification previously completed or within 3 months of hire.
